Send me a message and let me know and when I have enough interest I can break a class up into shorter time over more days.
Infants are always welcome at any of my classes BUT there are to be NO children at the range unless they are participating. If there is enough interest in a class with provided babysitting I can also work that out. Class times can be arranged to fall within school hours.
Seriously, send me a message about anything, we can make a class happen for you!
I feel ya. Send me a message! You can make it just a short "omg, help" or as long as detailed as you need it to be. I am here to help you so I'll get in contact with you, we can get together and chat, we'll work it all out. It's fine, everything's fine!
Not a problem, I have Trauma Informed Care and Response Training as well. Please just send me a message and know that with zero judgement I will be able to work something out with you.
The courses I suggest are in order of a Refuse To Be A Victim Seminar, with a First Steps class and/or a Basic Pistol Class and then a Concealed Carry class. The NRA also offers other courses in Personal Protection In and Out of the Home and other firearms related safety and educational courses. I only work with pistols, currently, but the NRA also offers classes in Rifles and Shotguns.
You absolutely must have range time too though because it's important to create skill and muscle memory and whether that's with a firearm or with pepper spray you must continue to practice. If you need help building confidence let me know and we can work together!
Currently I only have space to use when I have a pre-planned class so I am happy to travel to your location!
If your school/church/company is interested in holding CPR/FirstAid/AED class, a Refuse To Be A Victim Seminar or a Babysitter Training class (coming soon) or hey, maybe a pistol course or anything else I'm certified to teach (or even if I'm not, I've got connections) just contact me!
RTBAV Seminars can be held for 100's of participants at once while CPR is a little more limited depending on the class size.
Absolutely! The NRA's Babysitter Training Course designed for children aged 11 and older, and includes topics like as choosing age-appropriate activities, basic child care, such as feeding, child behavior, diapering, picking up a child safely, and more.
The Refuse to Be A Victim Seminar can be modified for different age groups, specifically middle school - college ages, however modification could be made to specifically target our older generation as well.
Children who are capable of paying attention to the material are also permitted to attend an NRA Pistol Class, I am family friendly for ages so please don't hesitate to ask me about teaching your whole family about safety and firearms use!
Also please let me know if you are interested in a FREE class designed to educate participants on safe firearm handling and storage. It also includes a short introduction on the parts of a firearm, how firearms function, and range etiquette. It does not include any live-fire, range time, or certificates. This class is educational-only. - This class is not instructed or supervised by, or affiliated with Wicked Wolf Training and is wonderfully presented by another agency.
The American Red Cross Babysitter Training is a course designed for new babysitters and childcare professionals alike, our childcare training courses allow you to gain the skills necessary to confidently care for kids of all ages.
To complement your child care training, I will also be teaching the Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED certification course . This course will not only help build your skills – and your resume – but can allow you to safely help others in times of need. I do not teach the Babysitter Training without CPR as I feel I would be failing both the children under the care of and the babysitter by not automatically coupling CPR with this course and if you're going to be certified you may as well be certified for all ages.
This program is only taught by specific individuals but if you're interested in learning more about it please reach out and I will get you connected with the right people for that!
You can find ALL the information on the NRA's Eddie Eagle GunSafe® Program website but it is a gun accident prevention program for children in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. The main teaching tool for the program is a video, newly released in April 2015, featuring Eddie Eagle and the Wing Team. Eddie and his friends teach children that if they ever come across a gun in an unsupervised situation, they need to STOP! Don’t touch. Run away. Tell a grown-up !
It costs money to shoot a gun at a gun range, every time. The individual gun ranges have their own pricing and while they work with Instructors we can't get you in for free. We do get you a discount though!
When you are booking any class that involves live-fire I give you have the option to pre-pay for your range and ammunition fees UNLESS you are renting a firearm, in which case you're required to purchase ammunition from the range at the time of the rental.
Let me know if you do not own a gun and we can talk about the options I might have available for use.
A HA! I have a whole page just for that and you can find all that out right here at The Fine Print and Policies page!
Well, see I have 2 different insurance policies and they're pretty happy about the fact Ive got Activity and Indemnity Waivers! The waivers are standard, you'll sign one at the gun range as well, and you're more than welcome to read through them and I would encourage you too
And im happy to take advice on them provided you're a credible and practicing lawyer, naturally.
That being said they are a requirement for participation and refusal to sign one will result in immediate removal from or cancellation of the class/activity and any and all funds paid will become non-refundable, so please sign them.
I have National Rifle Association Certifications (NRA ID 266642941) in:
I am also an American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/FirstAid/AED Licensed Training Provider
I am a qualified Denver Security Guard Instructor and employed part time by a small Security firm for events in and around the Greater Denver Metro area. I am formerly an EMT, Volunteer Firefighter, Phlebotomist and Certified Nursing Assistant. I also have 5 children, 4 of whom I've successfully raised to adulthood, one isn't old enough for all that yet.
Im also a Certified Notary Public which isn't really relevant but hey, just throwing that out there!
While we're throwing things out there I'm also an NRA Recruiter and a Frontlines Activist Leader so let me know if you're interested in joining the NRA as it's an excellent way to save money while keeping all your certifications together and feel free to ask me more about being a Front Lines Activist.
I have some other random certifications too and if you're really that hard pressed just message me and i'll compile you a full and random list
I sure do! If you need or want a class that I am not able to teach I am happy to help you find a good Instructor who can teach you.
And if you're interested in becoming an Instructor also let me know and I can talk to you about how the different processes work and guide you to a Training Counselor!
