Pistol Class faq

 Because you will be shooting and there will be flying brass, it’s  essential to wear clothes and gear that will keep you safe. Therefore, you need to wear closed-toe shoes, pants, and no shirts with a loose neck. I also  recommend long sleeves but that's totally up to you.

If you have a pistol, especially one you will be training with, please bring it with you along with 150 rounds of ammunition.

 Please note that due to ongoing concerns, the Sig P320 series will not be allowed in our classes. 

If you do not own a gun please don't rush out and buy one, we will discuss various firearms in class, there are gun rentals available at the range but if you rent a gun you'll have to also purchase ammunition at the range.

Hearing and Vision protection is also available at the range if you don't have the equipment.

 There are no prerequisites to take this course, making it an excellent course for shooters of all levels! 

This course IS a prerequisite to take other NRA courses including  is a prerequisite to the NRA Pistol Instructor Course (Military/Police experience does not excuse you from this requirement),  NRA Basic Personal Protection In the Home, NRA Personal Protection Out of the Home, and NRA Advanced Pistol Courses. 

Classroom training is 4-6 hours followed by a live fire portion. The live fire portion does not need to be completed the same day, I am happy to schedule with you to complete your course.
