Please note that due to ongoing concerns, the Sig P320 series will not be allowed in our classes.
As per new Colorado legislature all Concealed Carry Permit holders are required to attend a Colorado compliant CCW course that includes information about Colorado law and which contains a live fire component. This is true whether you are a first time applicant or already have a permit and require a refresher course. Your course MUST also be taught by an Instructor who is Verified with any Colorado County Sheriff's Department
Classroom training is 6-8 hours for a NEW CHP or 4 hours for a Refresher course followed by a live fire portion. The live fire portion does not need to be completed the same day, I am happy to schedule the live fire portion on a different day with you to complete your course.
There are no prerequisites to take this course, making it an excellent course for shooters of all levels!
If you have never handled a firearm before I would suggest taking Basic Pistol as a first class however we do cover some of the Basic Pistol portions in the CCW course
If you have a pistol, especially one you will be training with, please bring it with you along with 150 rounds of ammunition and either an IWB or OWB holster. If you do not own a holster please purchase one off Amazon prior to class, it can be a cheap cloth holster and doesn't need to be expensive or kydex as this is for initial training.
Please note that due to ongoing concerns, the Sig P320 series will not be allowed in our classes.
If you do not own a gun please don't rush out and buy one, we will discuss various firearms in class, there are gun rentals available at the range but if you rent a gun you'll have to also purchase ammunition at the range. I also have firearms available for use.
Hearing and Vision protection is also available at the range if you don't have the equipment.
Because you will be shooting and there will be flying brass, it’s essential to wear clothes and gear that will keep you safe. Therefore, you need to wear closed-toe shoes, pants, and no shirts with a loose neck. As this is a Concealed Carry course you will also need to bring a vest, coat or second shirt long enough to cover a holster.
